URLs can be created in any folder and they are used to point to external or internal web sites or pages. URLs are treated as documents.

To create a URL document, perform the following:
  1. Navigate to the folder in which you wish to create a URL document.
  2. Click on the "URL" menu item in the "New" menu.
  3. The "New URL" screen will appear.
  4. Enter a name for the URL.
  5. Enter a description for the URL.
  6. Enter the URL path, e.g. www.infoRouter.com.
  7. Notice that the "Name" of the URL will appear in the document list, not the actual URL path.

TIP!
It's not necessary to include the "http://" in the URL path. Also, do not give the URL name an extension such as .url -- an extension will be created for you.
