Setting up WebDAV on your workstation will allow you to access infoRouter documents and folders directly from Windows File Explorer by passing the infoRouter user interface.
To setup WebDAV at your workstation:
Note: Example shown using Windows XP.
  1. Double click on the “My Network Neighborhood” icon on your desktop.
  2. Click on “Add a Network Place” in the "Network Neighborhood" window.
  3. This will launch the "Add Network Place" Wizard
  4. Click on "Next" to continue. This will launch the "Add Network Place" Wizard. Select the “Choose Another Network Location” option.
  5. Specify the location of your infoRouter server. Make sure to enter this location correctly in the following format: http://(server name)/infoRouter/dav. This is a critical step. If you are not sure what the location of the infoRouter server is, please contact your infoRouter administrator.
  6. Give this Network place a name you can remember. An example for this may be “infoRouter DAV”
  7. Finally confirm the name you have chosen and click on “Finish”.
  8. This will launch a file explorer and navigate to infoRouter DAV. In this view, you will see all of the anonymous libraries appear in the form of folders. You may navigate through these folders and documents because they are meant to be anonymous, however, you will not be able to edit or create any documents and folders.
