Tasks are assigned at the document level.

To assign a task, perform the following:
  1. Select the document you wish to assign a task
  2. Navigate to the "Document Properties" window by clicking on the "Properties" icon located in the "Action" column.
  3. The "Document properties" window will appear.
  4. Click on the "Task Assignments" link located in the side menu.
  5. In the "Tasks" window, click on the "Add" button
  6. In the "New Document Task" window, perform the following:
    • Select the task type from the drop down list
    • Assign the task to an infoRouter user.
    • Enter task instructions
    • Set the task schedule
    • Specify the reminder email notification date (as the number of days before the task is due).
    • Specify whether the task can be completed before its due date
    • Set the task priority (Low, Normal, High)
    • Set the task permissions

      • Complete Only
        The assignee is expected to complete the task by the assigned date
      • User may postpone
        The assignee is allowed to postpone the task to a later date
