Web Based Front-end

Standards-Based Back End

Our software solutions rely on industry-standard, non-proprietary technologies that are already in place at most companies. These include Microsoft Windows NT/2000 servers, Microsoft Internet Information Server, Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle, JavaScript, HTML, and ASP. No additional proprietary hardware or software is required. And of course, we’re always available to assist you in integrating our solutions into your particular environment if necessary.

Other Software Requirements:

Most of the competition require additional platforms to perform some of their advanced features. infoRouter comes with MSDE which is a bundled (free) version of MS SQL Server. This default version is recommended for low traffic environments. With this configuration, there is no need to buy a database server and accompanying client licenses. MSDE is an ideal solution for low-traffic environments. For high-traffic environments, we recommend using the full version of MS SQL Server or another database environment such as Oracle. Our competition typically require specific application servers and/or other major software (example: Exchange) that may be very costly to implement and maintain.

Live Update:

Our Live Update feature lets you check for the latest version of infoRouter and download the most current components. Instead of having to wait for and keep track of patches, releases, or updates, you can automatically keep your copy of infoRouter current. And because infoRouter is Web-based, the updates take effect immediately without having to plan for outages and release schedules.
