Electronic Document Management refers to the capture and management of data via web forms and is a subset of
the core Document Management features of infoRouter.
Businesses generate a tremendous amount of digital content. Proposals, contracts, legal documents, customer
profiles, human resources related documents, financial reports, announcements and memos are generated every day.
Content is most commonly generated using popular desktop tools such as word processors and spreadsheets. The
downside of this is that the content is generated in free form which does not conform to any format, rules or
style.
infoRouter's form processing capabilities allow for the accurate capture of information which
can be easily compiled, processed and formatted according to corporate standards. Data captured using forms can be tightly integrated with
custom document properties (META Data) which allow for easy search and categorization of information.
